Description |
Since 1977, Pakistan Centre Nottingham has been at the forefront of providing services to the elderly, women and young people of the Pakistani/Kashmiri Community of Nottingham. The Pakistani Community is the largest ethnic minority in the City of Nottingham and faces some of the most disadvantages: this is evident in the alarmingly high levels of underachievement of our youngsters, disproportionately high instances of ill health, unemployment, and poor housing and youth disaffection. Pakistan Centre is actively working the statutory and voluntary sector to tackle these issues. |
