| Description | Sabcon represents the commercial interests of the Mian Sabahuddin family as passed down by his father Mian Amiruddin, the first Muslim Lord Mayor of Lahore in 1946, and before that by Mian Karim Baksh who relocated from Kashmir in c. 1840 and made Haveli Barood Khana his residence. This historical home was acquired by Mian Karim Baksh from the commanding general of Lahore during the rule of Ranjit Singh, and through this his progeny is also known as the ‘Barood Khana Family’. |
